Private Wingshooting Preserves

In much of the country, "natural" upland game bird hunting is little more than a nostalgic memory. Unless you're lucky enough to live on a pheasant-populated grain farm (or be good friends with someone who does!), you're most likely to find your upland hunting on a private preserve. These facilities range from the simplest back 40 acres where a farmer releases game birds for the occasional hunting party to lavish estates with large staffs and five-star accomodations.
