Bag Limit

Bag LimitEvery jurisdiction (usually understood to be a state or zone within a state), will dictate how much of a given game animal you can take on a given day, per hunter, during different calendar periods. There may be seasonal limits that override daily bag limits, so always understand the laws and regulations when you head out to hunt. Why do they call it a "bag limit?" Most small game is carried back from the field in a bag or pouch (sometimes over the shoulder, and sometimes directly built into a hunting vest or jacket) - and you don't want the game wardens to be asking for a look in that bag when you're over your limit!
