Chukar Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms
Ingredients
- Chukar, Apple, and Sage Sausage (see that recipe here)
- 1 dozen nicely-shaped White Mushrooms
- Spring onion
Directions
Remove the mushroom stems - they should pop out easily by gently pushing them to one
side.
To half of the chukar sausage recipe, add chopped mushroom stems from the dozen
mushrooms and a tablespoon of thinly sliced spring onion. Mix thoroughly.
Place one tablespoon of the sausage mixture into each mushroom cap and brush the
outside with melted butter.
Bake in a 400F pre-heated oven for 15-20 minutes.
Serve 3 as an appetizer or as individual hors d'oeuvres
